UVA Health is seeking a Senior HIT Project Manager to lead Epic optimization, implementation, and continuous improvement, guiding cross-functional teams toward on-time, on-budget delivery. You will ensure alignment with organizational goals, balancing clinical, operational, and technical needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; PMP and Epic experience preferred.
• Experience leading complex healthcare IT projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on delivery.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and scope for large initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex healthcare IT projects with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Manage Epic optimization, implementation, enhancements, and technology improvements.
• Partner with Epic leaders, clinicians, and stakeholders to align solutions with care goals.
• Develop project plans, resources, timelines, risk mitigation, and status reporting.
• Coordinate vendor activities and ensure integration of deliverables into projects.
• Facilitate governance, stakeholder engagement, and executive communications.
• Analyze performance, resource utilization, and key metrics for decision-making.
• Drive change management to improve adoption, workflow, and user experience.
• Provide leadership and coaching to project teams across complex challenges.
• Support enterprise initiatives including Epic optimization and new module deployments.
