Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant histology experience.

Responsibilities

• Embed, cut, stain tissues and perform immunocytochemical procedures as requested by pathologists.
• Maintain instrument maintenance and quality control records.
• Train and provide direction to Histotechnologists/Histotechnicians on procedures.
• Identify tissue adequacy in the operating room and communicate findings to the Attending/Fellow.
