Job summary

North Wind Resource Consulting seeks a Senior Cultural Resources Project Manager to lead complex projects across multiple states focused on federal, state, tribal, and private clients. This role emphasizes Section 106/NEPA compliance, QA/QC, and staff leadership for field and office teams.

You will manage scopes, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with SHPOs, tribal governments, and federal managers to deliver high-quality documentation and compliant project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or closely related discipline.
• Ten (10)+ years of progressively responsible cultural resources experience, including Class III surveys and related field efforts.
• Experience with Section 106/110 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
• Principal Investigator eligibility and PI permitting ability.
• Familiarity with ICris/land-managing agency requirements.
• Proficiency with GPS/GIS and data collection software.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cultural resources projects across multiple states.
• Direct or oversee Class I, II, and III investigations and related field efforts.
• Prepare and review cultural resources documents and agency submittals.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with subcontractors and agencies.
• Supervise and mentor project staff and field teams.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans; track performance.
