Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Histology experience preferred, with embedding and cutting proficiency.
• This position requires weekend work as part of the schedule.
• College degree in science is preferred; ASCP registration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform routine and special stains.
• Maintain Histology department and equipment; ensure quality control and compliance.
• Oversee inventory management and supply levels.
• Ensure policies and procedures are updated per accreditation standards.
• Uphold safety and regulatory compliance within the lab.
• Follow hospital codes of conduct and department policies.
• Be present and punctual as part of responsibilities.
• Follow company policies and directives.
• Prioritize and multitask to support lab operations.
