The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in HIM, proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office, and an associate degree with RHIT/RHIA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HIM experience in an acute care or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• High School diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a health-related field and RHIT/RHIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity, accuracy, and availability of patient health records throughout the medical record lifecycle.
• Manage record completion processes and ROI requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support providers and stakeholders in a fast-paced hospital environment while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA privacy laws and data quality requirements.
