The position requires a CCS credential, a Bachelor's degree, and 3–5 years of ICD-9-CM coding experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to work with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and CCS credential required.
• Three to five years' experience in ICD-9 CM coding, DRGs, and PPS.

Responsibilities

• Manage Inpatient/Outpatient Coding staff and ensure timely, accurate coding to support documentation and billing.
• Summarize PRO/Quality Control Audits with the coding team and update guidelines.
• Research and implement new coding guidelines arising from audits and payer updates.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
