Job summary

AMT, a growing structural engineering firm in Towson, MD, seeks a highly experienced Structural/Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge and multi-disciplinary projects. You will mentor staff, manage client relations, and steer design from schematic to contract documents for highway and pedestrian structures.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree, PE licensure (or reciprocal), 10+ years of project/client management, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months.
• 10+ years of project and client management experience with relevant contacts.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel locally; field inspection experience a plus.
• Experience with DOT and multi-discipline bridge projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical roles on bridge and structural design projects.
• Plan, direct, and monitor mid-to-large multi-discipline projects.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing and meetings.
• Conduct design sessions with teams and review documentation.
• Ensure deliverables meet standards and client/AMT requirements.
• Coordinate staffing/workload to complete documents on schedule.
• Collaborate with Finance/Discipline Heads on project reviews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and review bridge plans.
• Mentor and train junior staff; maintain professional licensure.
• Travel as required; participate in background checks.
