Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Highways and Drainage Engineer to join our team across multiple UK locations. The role focuses on temporary works design and management, with involvement in a wide range of construction projects from concept to delivery.

Ideal candidates will be Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or pursuing Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, with a solid grounding in highways and drainage design principles and experience in temporary works.

Qualifications

• Must have strong grounding in highways and drainage engineering principles and knowledge of applicable design standards.
• Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of construction engineering services including highways and drainage temporary works design and checking.
• Review permanent designs for compliance and buildability; support tenders and preconstruction planning.
• Provide technical support to overcome construction-stage issues and defects; lead multiple projects.
