Job summary

WSP in the UK is seeking a Principal/Associate Director to lead drainage, water and environmental solutions for major transport infrastructure projects. You will shape delivery from concept to detailed design and manage a team of drainage engineers while building relationships with clients across rail, highways, Local Authorities and aviation.

Qualifications

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or degree qualified depending on role.
• Extensive post-degree experience in designing sustainable drainage solutions.
• Proficient in drainage design principles and infrastructure drainage management.
• Experience using Civil 3D and/or Causeway Flow or MicroDrainage software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of civil engineering projects including highway, rail, infrastructure and site development schemes.
• Lead projects from concept through to completion, maintaining high technical standards, timeliness and commercial success.
• Deliver drainage services for major transport and infrastructure schemes.
• Lead client relationships and attend progress meetings.
• Manage a team of drainage engineers and support their development and project resourcing.
