HDR is seeking a Highway/Roadway Engineer to design, lead design tasks, and manage project teams in the Colorado offices (Grand Junction/Durango). The role involves coordinating with survey, geotechnical, and other disciplines, delivering detailed plans, and supporting client meetings.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, PE license, and strong CAD skills with experience in urban and rural highway design, traffic planning, and multimodal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with PE licensure preferred.
• Experience with urban and rural highway design and interchanges.
• Proven CAD proficiency and ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a technical role on urban and rural highway projects under PM direction.
• Oversee CAD Designers and EITs on design tasks.
• Prepare detailed roadway designs and project schedules.
