Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our Pennsylvania Transportation group.

The role leverages extensive highway design experience to deliver projects for state agencies, while partnering with client teams to support growth and proposals. The ideal candidate holds a PE license (PA preferred) with 8–12 years in highway engineering, and is adept at coordinating multidisciplinary teams and communicating complex solutions.

Qualifications

• PE license required (Pennsylvania preferred).
• 8–12 years of highway engineering experience.
• Experience with PennDOT and/or PTC and other transportation agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional design services for transportation projects for multiple agencies including PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
• Design roadway geometrics, modeling, cross sections, traffic control, signing and pavement markings.
• Coordinate design development and provide technical direction to team members.
• Mentor junior engineers and support proposal development and business development.
