Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Highway Project Engineer to join our Transportation team in Pennsylvania.

You will develop and refine 3D models, alignments, corridors, and cross‑sections for roadway projects across PA, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Required is a BS in Civil/Transportation Engineering, a PA Professional Engineer license, and at least 6 years of transportation experience with MicroStation InRoads; OpenRoads Designer experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering required.
Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania required.
Minimum 6 years of transportation engineering experience with roadway/geometry focus.
Strong proficiency in MicroStation InRoads; OpenRoads Designer knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross‑sections for transportation projects.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in highway geometry and modeling software best practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, surveyors, planners, and project managers.
Prepare detailed roadway, highway, and transit infrastructure plans and technical specifications.
Conduct design reviews, constructability analyses, and quality control checks.
Assist with project reports, client presentations, and communications.
Stay up to date with OpenRoads and related tooling trends.
