Job summary

HNTB seeks a Senior Project Engineer to join our highway design team in Florida, delivering major conventional and alternative delivery projects. The role includes advanced engineering, coordination with planning, environmental, and traffic teams, and ensuring high-quality execution of technical and contractual requirements.

You'll mentor staff, manage scope and budgets, and contribute to marketing efforts like proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Use senior technical expertise to evaluate a broad range of engineering solutions.
• Lead planning, work distribution, and adherence to schedule and budget on complex projects.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and manage level of effort to meet scope and budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinate with client and partners on technical aspects of the project.
• Lead discipline delivery on large multi-disciplinary projects.
