• Experience operating heavy equipment or farming background is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operates highway maintenance equipment such as trucks, rollers, front-end loaders, and snowplows.
• Operates specialized equipment for tasks like lay-down machines and chip spreaders.
• Identifies maintenance needs and helps service equipment; maintains yards and grounds.
• Patches roadways and repairs signs, bridges, culverts, and other structures.
• Responds to winter weather emergencies and on-call situations as needed.
