Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• For Highway Maintenance Worker/Senior, must have Class A or B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates highway maintenance equipment such as trucks, rollers, loaders, tractors, graders, snowplows, backhoes and other equipment.
• Operates specialized equipment for lay-down machines, rock cutters, snoopers, pavement stripers, drilling or milling machinery, gas transports and chip spreaders.
• Identifies maintenance needs and participates in servicing and repair; maintains yards.
