Qualifications

Requires a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
Must attain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six (6) months.
Physical demands include bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs and working near traffic.
May require extended hours in inclement weather or emergencies.

Responsibilities

Coordinate maintenance operations including pavement patching, drainage and shoulder repair.
Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, graders, and loaders.
Input daily work accomplishments into HMMS system.
Set up traffic control devices and act as a flagger in work zones.
Perform pre-trip inspections and operate tools and equipment safely.
Remove snow/ice using plow and salt spreader as needed.
