Job summary

Erdman Anthony in Pittsburgh seeks a Senior Engineer - Highway to lead transportation design projects, coordinate with clients and public agencies, and drive quality from concept to completion.

Requirements include a BS or MS in civil engineering, 10–15+ years in highway/transportation, and a PE license; you will oversee scope, schedule, budget, mentor junior staff, present to stakeholders, and engage on PennDOT projects.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in civil engineering.
• 10-15+ years of progressive technical experience, diversified knowledge preferred.
• Civil engineer with highway design and transportation engineering focus.
• PE License required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare and submit technical proposals to PennDOT and other agencies.
• Prepare and negotiate fee proposals to PennDOT and other agencies.
• Review subconsultant agreements.
• Serve as project manager for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead transportation projects from conception to completion per PennDOT standards.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for detailed design phases.
• Present to prospective clients and project stakeholders.
