Job summary
Egis, in conjunction with Lochner, is recruiting a Senior Highway Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. The role requires 8+ years of roadway design experience on PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects and registered Professional Engineer status in Pennsylvania.
You will perform geometric roadway design, assist in analyses, and prepare contract documents (PS&E) in line with state requirements. Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is essential, with drainage/erosion control
Qualifications
- Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a PA PE license.
- 8+ years of roadway design experience on PennDOT/PA Turnpike projects.
- Proficient with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Experience with project coordination and document control.
Responsibilities
- Lead roadway design and prepare contract documents (PS&E) per state/local requirements.
- Coordinate with staff, sub-consultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Manage project documentation, schedules, budgets, and scope.
- Collaborate with Lochner offices to deliver national projects on-time and within budget.
