Egis is seeking an entry-level Roadway Engineer in Pennsylvania to join our growing transportation team.

You'll apply engineering knowledge to design roadways, perform calculations, develop plans, and collaborate with project teams. EIT is a plus, and experience with MicroStation/AutoCAD/OpenRoads Designer is valued.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification is a plus.
• 0–3 years of roadway design experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with MicroStation/AutoCAD software.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer a plus.
• Experience in roadway design on PennDOT/PA Turnpike projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, roundabouts, and other transportation infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates with the project team.
• Coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• May conduct site investigations and other related responsibilities.
• Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments.
