Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Highway Engineer III to join our Transportation team in either the Indianapolis or New Albany office.

You will lead design efforts for roadway and transportation infrastructure projects for state and local agencies, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor junior engineers while advancing project delivery from concept through final design and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 6 years of highway/transportation engineering experience.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience designing roadway and transportation infrastructure for state/local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway and roadway design activities from concept through final design and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, agencies, and clients throughout project development.
• Develop design solutions and analyze alternatives while meeting standards and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Support project schedules, budgets, quality control, and deliverables.
