VHB is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) design experience to join our growing team in Virginia. In this leadership position, you will oversee complex transportation projects, providing technical oversight while supporting major Design-Build pursuits across Virginia, including Tysons, Richmond, and Virginia Beach. Qualifications

• 11+ years of progressive experience in transportation engineering, focusing on VDOT roadway design.
• Demonstrated experience managing Design-Build projects in the transportation sector.
• Strong familiarity with VDOT standards, procedures, and digital deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and Technical Lead on VDOT transportation design projects.
• Support Design-Build deliveries, coordinating with contractors for effective solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee cross-disciplinary design teams.
