Qualifications

• 16+ years of highway design experience
• P.E. license in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Strong knowledge of FDOT standards and procedures

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record on highway and roadway design projects
• Lead and perform senior-level technical design tasks, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable standards
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff, fostering professional growth and development
• Assist with project management duties including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination
• Support proposal development, including technical writing and scope definition
• Play an active role in business development, helping to identify and pursue new project opportunities in the Jacksonville and broader Florida market
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across WRA’s offices to deliver successful project outcomes
