Job summary

H&H, a nationally recognized infrastructure engineering firm, invites you to join our Newark, Delaware office as a Highway/Civil Engineer to help design roadways, bridges and site improvements. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 5–8 years of Mid-Atlantic design experience.

Proficiency with MicroStation, Geopak and AutoCAD, plus working knowledge of DelDOT/VDOT standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, AutoCAD and DelDOT/VDOT standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• 5–8 years of design experience in the Mid-Atlantic region including roadway, traffic, site/civil, ROW and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce highway and civil designs for roadways, bridges and site/civil improvements.
• Apply MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual and AASHTO design standards.
• Ensure work is completed with QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate with the design team and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage project communication, schedule, budget and progress across tasks.
