Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a High Voltage Superintendent to oversee on‑site HV construction for utility‑scale renewables, including solar, BESS, and wind. Lead coordination with EPCs, utilities, and inspectors while ensuring safe, compliant execution to project schedules.

You will review installation methods, manage field teams, and drive QA/QC through commissioning and closeout, with up to 50% travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical construction with high‑voltage experience.
• Experience on renewable energy projects (solar, BESS, wind).
• Coordinate electrical contractors and field operations on large builds.
• Proficient with MS Office and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high‑voltage construction activities for utility‑scale renewables.
• Lead onsite coordination with EPCs, subcontractors, utilities, and inspectors.
• Ensure installation and commissioning meet designs, codes, and schedules.
• Review plans, methods, and safety procedures for HV scopes.
• Monitor QA/QC and coordinate RFIs, changes, and scope clarity.
