Shermco Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Field Service Technician to perform site visits across Texas and neighboring states. You will test, troubleshoot, and start up electrical systems from 480V to 600 kV, with minimal overnight travel required 2-3 times yearly.

Qualifications include 5+ years in switchgear testing, NETA (III/IV) or electrical license, and strong PC skills. Widespread travel, safety training, and a drug-free workplace are part of the role.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant experience performing switchgear testing & troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel locally/regionally and occasional overnight travel.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and electrical codes.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and collect data on HV/mV electrical systems.
• Perform transformer tests and relay calibration tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot and test switchgear and circuit breakers.
• Coordinate with customers and Shermco teams to ensure timely service responses.
• Maintain documentation of tests and results using standard tools.
