Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to own high-speed testing efforts for cable backplane systems. You will collaborate with global teams, design and execute EVT/DVT plans, and mentor technicians while supporting multiple factories.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong communication, and willingness to travel to manufacturing locations in the US and abroad as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; BS or MS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field (e.g. RF / Antenna test).
• Experience with various high speed testing equipment (e.g. TDR, VNA/ENA).
• Understanding of signal integrity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Global ownership of high-speed test, including BERT, optical/electrical eye diagram, jitter, TDR, VNA.
• Collaborate with development engineering, factories, and customers to deploy cable assembly high-speed testing.
• Plan and execute EVT/DVT; generate reports.
• Mentor test technicians and provide site support across NA and Asia.
