Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to design and implement high-speed test processes for copper cable systems used in data centers and telecom. The role emphasizes hands-on test development, EVT/DVT planning, and close collaboration with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams across North America and Asia.

Competenze

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering required.
7+ years experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience with high-speed test equipment (TDR, VNA/ENA).
Strong collaboration with product design and process development teams.
Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills; ability to work with customers and suppliers.

Mansioni

Global ownership of high-speed test, including BERT, optical test, eye diagrams, jitter, TDR, VNA, etc.
Collaborate with engineering, factories, and customers to deploy test capabilities.
Plan and publish EVT and DVT plans and reports.
Work with hardware and firmware teams on performance validation.
Develop next-generation high-speed test systems to support roadmap.
