Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United States is seeking an experienced Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Layout Engineer to design high‑performance PCBs for cutting‑edge computing systems. The role emphasizes independent layout work, release to production, and adherence to EMI, signal integrity, and thermal requirements.

You will use Cadence Allegro PCB Editor, read schematics, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical degree with 10+ years in PCB layout.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years in PCB layout.
• Cadence Allegro PCB Editor expertise required.
• Experience with DDR4/PCIe Gen4 and high-speed interfaces.
• Experience with PCB fabrication shops and PCA vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB layouts using CAD software per specs and manufacturing requirements.
• Read schematics and determine layout approaches and parameters.
• Influence design decisions to resolve system-performance issues.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
