Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a senior hardware engineer focused on high-speed digital circuit design for complex multilayer PCBs. You will lead end-to-end development from concept through production, mentor engineers, and ensure SI/PI integrity with advanced tools.

Applicants must have STEM credentials with extensive experience and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. This onsite role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) from requirements to production.
• Mentor Hardware Engineers on high-speed digital design and PCB layout best practices.
• Ensure robust signal and power integrity via modeling, simulation, and hardware validation.
• Champion Design to Cost (DTC), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Test (DFT) principles.
• Perform hardware integration and Design Verification Testing (DVT) and provide support for Product Qualification Testing.
• Collaborate across Systems, Software, and Mechanical Engineering teams and align stakeholders and customers on program objectives.
