Job summary

Factory Motor Parts in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to manage upkeep and repair of packaging machinery and facility systems. You will perform emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and complex troubleshooting on high-speed equipment to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, proficiency with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and experience using a CMMS for work

Qualifications

5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a high-speed packaging or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and basic industrial electricity.
Experience using CMMS to log work orders and manage preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and perform emergency repairs on high-speed bottling and packaging machinery with minimal supervision.
Maintain and overhaul packaging lines, including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and palletizers.
Perform electrical diagnostics on sensors, relays, and motor controls (120V–480V).
Repair plant utilities, pumps, motors, and VFDs; service conveyor configurations.
Document repairs and PMs using CMMS; support continuous improvement and equipment installations.
