Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5-8+ years experience in connector and/or cable assembly design.
• Experience with card edge, memory, and power connectors.
• Familiarity with PCIe, DDR, OCP, JEDEC, and SFF standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across global teams.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling (Creo) and PLM systems (Windchill).

Responsibilities

• Lead connector development from concept through qualification.
• Design high-speed and power connectors and cable assemblies.
• Collaborate with global customers and cross-functional teams.
• Apply server/storage architectures and signal integrity principles.
• Develop prototypes, oversee testing and qualification.
• Support cost analysis and manufacturing decisions.
• Benchmark competitors to drive differentiation.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing.
• Partner with Manufacturing to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Stay current with interconnect trends.
