Job summary

Comal Independent School District is seeking a Career and Technical Education teacher to provide rigorous and relevant CTE experiences. You will deliver hands-on instruction, align with industry standards, and collaborate with CTSOs to foster leadership, competitive events, and community engagement.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and a Texas teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsements. ESL certification is preferred for high school assignments.

Qualifications

• Requires a Texas teaching certificate with endorsed subject area and required training.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• ESL certification preferred for high school teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Plan instruction with accommodations for diverse learning styles and needs.
• Set up and manage classroom environment per Student Code of Conduct and district policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff to support student success.
• Participate in staff development and adhere to district regulations and records retention.
