Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a full-time Senior AV coordinator for the senior high school to manage daily audiovisual services, equipment maintenance and staff supervision. You will oversee distribution, setup and troubleshooting of AV systems used in classrooms and events.

You will train students, schedule materials, maintain equipment inventories, and ensure timely project completion while upholding school policies and safety.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent
• Experience with audio visual equipment, standard office machines and computers

Responsibilities

• Order and schedule films and rental materials for classroom use; order audio visual supplies and new non-book materials
• Train and supervise students in the operation of various office machines and audio visual equipment; test and grade students each nine weeks
• Provide audio visual services (i.e. laminating, dry mounting, sign making, video taping, etc)
• Circulate software and hardware to faculty and students
• Maintain inventory and location of school’s computer and audio visual equipment
• Supervise use of viewing rooms and work with students
• Prepare documentation (letters, memos, forms, correspondence, etc) to convey information to the appropriate parties
• Regular and on-time attendance required
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
• Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
