Job summary

Mansfield City Schools is seeking an Audio Visual Director supplemental for the 2026-2027 school year to provide AV equipment and technical support for the high school during regular hours. Services extend to events in classrooms and common areas, with expanded capacity on a volunteer basis.

The role involves operating sound, lighting, projection, video, recording, and livestream systems; coordinating event production; training student AV crews; and maintaining equipment with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional audiovisual equipment and production.
• Ability to supervise students and volunteers effectively.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or other hours to support school events.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate audiovisual services for school events (athletic contests, concerts, theater productions, graduations).
• Operate or supervise sound, lighting, projection, video displays, recording, and livestream systems.
• Train and supervise student AV crews and volunteers in safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain inventory and report maintenance/replacement needs to administrators.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during events to minimize disruptions.
