Job summary

Inovalon Inc. is seeking a Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead retrospective cohort studies using claims data, possibly combined with external sources, within the Insights Business unit.

The role entails guiding study design, statistics, and dissemination while expanding client relationships across multiple therapeutic areas. You will act as a senior HEOR SME, drive project management, and oversee reports, abstracts, and white papers, with a focus on strategic

Qualifications

• 7+ years healthcare HEOR experience with observational research
• 3+ years leading projects from inception to completion
• Experience evaluating research findings for client distribution
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• IRB experience preferred
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead retrospective cohort studies leveraging claims data (and external sources)
• Direct cross-functional teams to develop study proposals, protocols, and analysis plans
• Serve as HEOR subject matter expert within and across the firm
• Support business development and client growth
• Manage project staff and client communications throughout delivery
• Ensure on-time delivery and manage impediments across projects
• Maintain compliance with company policies and HIPAA requirements
• Foster collaboration and deliver high-quality final reports and manuscripts
