Job summary

Inovalon is seeking a Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead retrospective cohort studies leveraging large-scale real-world datasets. You will guide cross‑functional teams, design protocols, and generate data-driven insights across therapeutic areas to support customers and growth.

The role requires expert HEOR knowledge, strong client communication, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare/HEOR with observational real‑world data.
• 3+ years leading projects from inception to completion.
• Experience with IRB and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead retrospective cohort studies using Inovalon claims data and external sources.
• Manage cross-functional teams; develop scope, study design, and analytics plans.
• Serve as HEOR subject matter expert within the team and with clients.
• Support business development and client growth through insights and strategy.
• Ensure timely delivery of interim and final reports and dissemination materials.
• Maintain HIPAA/compliance standards and internal policies.
