BioMarin is seeking a Senior Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead payer evidence strategies across asset programs and ensure alignment with regulatory and HTA requirements. The role requires deep expertise in patient-relevant outcomes, market access, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Reporting to the ED, this leader will shape study designs, manage external partnerships, and support global HTA submissions while driving strategic communication of value

Qualifications

12+ years in Pharma with 7+ years in HEOR
Experience with patient-relevant outcomes research
Deep understanding of market access and HTA frameworks
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience with PRO measures for regulatory, payer and HTA decisions

Responsibilities

Lead development and communication of payer evidence strategies aligned with Value & Access priorities
Collaborate with Value & Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development & Regulatory
Drive understanding of payer HTA requirements related to PRO endpoints and health utility
Lead cross-functional asset-specific patient-relevant outcomes strategies and endpoints in trials
