Job summary

Maritime Helicopters is seeking a qualified QA Manager in Fairbanks, Alaska to oversee the quality assurance programs and ensure compliance with FARs across maintenance operations.

You will audit logs, maintain manufacturer technical documentation, lead inspector and mechanic training, and serve as Chief Inspector for the FAA Part 145 repair station. Competitive benefits accompany the permanent, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance management for aviation maintenance.
• Knowledge of FARs, ADs and manufacturer service instructions.
• Experience supervising inspectors and certificated/non-certificated mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA programs and compliance with FARs for all maintenance ops.
• Audit aircraft logbooks for FAR/AD compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date manufacturer tech docs and procedures.
• Act as Chief Inspector for FAR Part 145 Repair Station.
• Manage mechanics training program and supervise staff.
• Assist Director of Maintenance in his absence.
