Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a ProSolutions Technician in Berea, OH to lead fleet maintenance and uphold safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes mastering branch SOPs, mentoring junior mechanics, and ensuring equipment stays on the rental “ready line.”

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly pay range, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to develop hands-on expertise in power and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Owns a sufficient set of hand/air/electric tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent preventive maintenance schedule for all Herc-owned fleet.
• Operate and test equipment to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs independently.
• Diagnose engines, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Enter and review work orders and order parts via fleet management system.
• Lead training for junior mechanics under supervision.
