Job summary

Herc Rentals in Berea, OH is seeking a ProSolutions Technician to maintain and repair our heavy equipment fleet in a full-time role. You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and mentor other mechanics to keep equipment ready for rental.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive pay range of $28.00–$30.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the branch.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Ownership of sufficient hand and air/electric tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a consistent maintenance schedule for all Herc-owned fleet
• Operate and test equipment to meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs independently
• Diagnose engines, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems
• Lead major repairs using diagnostic tools and hand tools
• Enter and review work orders and order parts
