DeSoto Board of County Commissioners (FL) seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to maintain county right of ways and assist the crew leader. You will operate graders, loaders, backhoes, rollers and related equipment with high proficiency, and perform routine maintenance and inspections.

The role requires teamwork, strong safety awareness, and the ability to perform manual labor as needed, including emergencies and after-hours work during disasters.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of experience operating and maintaining construction equipment.
• Ability to operate, drive, and perform tasks described in job duties.

Responsabilidades

• Operate heavy construction equipment for road maintenance.
• Perform daily safety inspections of assigned equipment.
• Train and instruct other employees on safe operation.
• Assist crew leader and perform manual labor as needed.
