Washington County Government is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Operator III in the Highways department to operate a wide range of construction and specialized equipment used in highway maintenance and construction projects. The role requires a High School Diploma and at least five years of experience operating heavy equipment, with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within nine months.

A comprehensive benefits package and a starting annual salary of $57,075 are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a variety of highway construction and heavy equipment.
• Receive assignments from supervisor; may supervise a road crew.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Train other operators in safe operation of heavy equipment.
• Keep records of fuel, oil, parts and supplies used.
• Perform related highway maintenance or landfill tasks.
