Washington County Government in Maryland seeks an Equipment Operator II for the Highways Department. You will operate construction equipment including trucks (Class B CDL), loaders, rollers and backhoes, and perform routine maintenance with record-keeping under supervision.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and two years of equipment operation experience. CDL-B and related certifications are preferred, and you will train others in safe operation of machinery.

Responsabilidades

• Operate trucks with Class B CDL and other equipment (loaders, roller, backhoe).
• Maintain equipment via greasing, oiling, cleaning and tire changes.
• Assist skilled technicians with major repairs as needed.
• Keep records of fuel, oil, parts and supplies used.
• Train other maintenance staff in safe operation of equipment.
