Job summary

Amentum in Hagåtña, Guam, seeks a Special Purpose Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic to operate, repair, maintain, and test heavy equipment including 25K and 60K loaders, trucks, graders, and related flightline support vehicles.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, hydraulic and mechanical repairs, data entry in MAXIMO/DPAS, and adherence to safety and environmental standards; U.S. Government clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed or trained to operate heavy equipment.
• Experience repairing major systems expected.
• Preferred certification in motor vehicle air conditioning.
• Specialized diesel and heavy automotive repair knowledge.
• Able to read schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, maintain, and function test heavy equipment including 25K and 60K loaders, trucks, and related vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and replacements of components.
• Disassemble/reassemble engines and mechanical units for inspection with test equipment.
• Maintain safety and environmental practices; follow manufacturer service guidelines.
• Enter maintenance data and manage work orders in MAXIMO and DPAS.
• Coordinate parts and services with vendors and customers.
