Job summary

Amentum is seeking a skilled vehicle electrician to perform electrical repairs and maintenance on USAF fleet vehicles in Guam. You will inspect, test, repair, and service electrical systems using wiring diagrams, test equipment, and special tools; you will also service air conditioning systems and perform Limited Technical Inspections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years’ experience as a vehicle electrician required.
• Evidence of formal training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Capable of reading safety instructions, wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair and maintain electrical systems on heavy, light and special purpose vehicles and MHE.
• Use wiring diagrams, test equipment and special tools to diagnose faults.
• Charge and repair air conditioning systems.
• Conduct Limited Technical Inspections (LTI) to determine repair needs and costs.
• Realign and adjust engine, transmission, steering and other systems as required.
• Maintain safety, environmental and hazardous materials procedures.
• Complete work orders with hours and parts used.
