Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks including engines, electronics, HVAC, and chassis.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
• Self-motivation and strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostics and advanced repairs for medium/heavy-duty trucks.
• Oversee precision diagnostics, repairs, and shop excellence in the shop.
• Mentor other technicians and share expertise to enhance performance.
• Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, clutches, electrical and air systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance to ensure long-term reliability.
• Promote safety, quality, and teamwork in the shop.
