Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Truck Technician to diagnose, service, and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems on class 5–8 trucks and RVs. You will follow OEM guidelines, document work, and test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation.

The role requires CDL and A/C certification, with ASE Master certification preferred. Training through Freightliner programs is part of the path, and applicants must pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license for GA or willingness to obtain it.
• A/C certification required or preferred.
• Shipping/receiving paperwork and warranty procedures familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs heavy-duty truck systems using hand and power tools.
• Ensure repairs comply with work orders and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain accurate time punches and repair records.
• Test drive trucks to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Keep work area and customer vehicles clean during and after service.
• Complete Freightliner and related training programs as required.
