Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a mobile truck technician to perform maintenance on class 5 through class 8 trucks and RVs at locations away from the main shops. You will diagnose, repair, and test systems using a range of hand and power tools.

You will communicate repair needs to customers, create work orders, manage schedules across repair locations, maintain road service parts inventory, and ensure work is completed accurately and safely in accordance with OEM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair truck systems according to OEM and company guidelines.
• Ability to operate and interpret readings from test instruments to diagnose malfunctions.
• Communicate repair needs and recommended services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on class 5–8 trucks and RVs at locations away from main shops.
• Diagnose and repair truck systems using hand and power tools.
• Create and open work orders; maintain road service repair schedules and parts inventory.
• Test drive trucks to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure customer vehicles are kept clean during repairs.
• Follow warranty procedures and safety policies as directed by OEMs.
