Guardian Fleet Services Inc. (Parker Towing) in Fort Wayne, IN, seeks an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Operations Manager to oversee daily towing, recovery, roadside, and fleet support operations for commercial and municipal accounts.

The role requires leading drivers, ensuring equipment readiness, safety compliance, and high service quality, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in towing, heavy-duty recovery, transportation, fleet, or related roadside service industry.
• Valid CDL driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, train, and hold teams accountable.
• Strong working knowledge of heavy-duty towing and recovery equipment and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure in fast-paced, emergency, roadside environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily towing and recovery operations, including heavy-duty wreckers and support equipment.
• Coordinate dispatch priorities, response times, and resource allocation for safety and efficiency.
• Ensure drivers follow procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
• Respond to escalated customer, law enforcement, municipality, and account concerns promptly.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance coaching for operations staff.
• Manage timecards, PTO requests, driver schedules, and overtime.
