The role includes diagnosing complex issues, training apprentices, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The position requires a CDL, A/C, Brake and DOT Inspector certifications, and at least four years’ experience or vocational training.

Qualifications

• CDL required and strong diagnostic abilities.
• Good customer relations and communication skills.
• Apprentice training and mentoring are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled and complicated mechanical work on heavy‑duty truck equipment with minimal supervision.
• Performs troubleshooting on major problems.
• Works with and helps train Apprentice Technicians.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of tools.
• Advises the Service Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintains favorable relations with customers.
• Participates in training to stay updated on new technology.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
